2019 Captaincy Election Schedule

Post by Leipziger »

Now that the Charter & Selection Documents have been voted upon it is time to move forward with selecting a captain for Eurobowl 2020 in Poland (October 3/4, 2020)

Candidates must have:
- played 50+ non-variant tabletop NAF games
- competed in at least one Eurobowl, or attended a Europen outside of the UK

A candidate may stand to be a playing or a non-playing Captain.

The selection process will run as follows:

Sunday 24th November-Saturday November 30th: Candidates should make themselves known. There is no need for nominations & seconding. Submit your interest here: viewtopic.php?f=85&t=46047

Sunday 1st December-Saturday 7th December: Q&A process. The candidate/s should answer questions from the community.

Sunday 8th December-Sunday 22nd December: Voting.

One question (and I'm not putting myself forward, just honestly interested in the answer). I haven't played a Euro Bowl or Open, but have been involved in the ref team for both.

I assume I (and people like me) would be ineligible?

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Hi Mike, you’re correct. It’s only coaches that have played at EB, overseas EO, that will be eligible for this role.
