Very sad now. :(

Will cheer up tomorrow while zooming round Thruxton on a Go-kart, but expect I'll spend today's BBQ trying to get a signal so I can keep up on Twitter.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Thank you everyone for supporting Thrudball at the NAF Championships by buying merchandise, donating or agreeing to paint auction items, helping me promote the event, recruit attendees or source beer for the sculptor of our belly smalls miniature, Fabio Menegon. He's working on a halfling cake thrower, hopefully for this year if there is time...

thanks also to my two opponents i enjoyed both matches and getting to know you both better.

especially id like to thank Paul, Jo, Dave and lunch money for letting me help out, and sorry for
my over sleeping till the end of round 4...

but most of all a huge thanks to all the guys who played the "weed" card game, i haven't laughed tha much in a LONG while...

LOVED the whole event, in a word, "THRUDTASTIC"

Was great fun, thanks to one and all. Got to meet some great people and we certainly need to go back there next year.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Great weekend, plenty of fun matches and nice to put faces to names! Was really nice to get a nomination for best painted, although I maintain a only slipped in because people like the conversions!

See you all next year

A blast of a weekend from Friday night's shenanigans in Nottingham all the way to the end of Sunday. The new venue was great and I had 6 fun games :)

Congratulations to the organisers and all the winners. I can confirm that Jim was last seen retiring to his bedroom with a paper crown on singing, 'I'm the champ, I'm the champ, I'm the champ...'

Roll on 2014 :)

Hello All,

Great tournament. Congrats on the crew for the organisation. We really had a blast. Venue was top.
Only suggestion we can give is topless waitresses between 20 and 35.

Congrats to Jimmy the Champ.

Thanks to all my opponents:
BSKing (Undead)
Leipziger (Dwarf)
Kfoged (Dark Elf)
PeteW (Orc) - special thanks for throwing that Tripple Skulls. I bet we'll remember that when we next play each other.
Doomy (Scottish Undead - they shuffled forward in a thick scottish accent)
VultureSquadron (Orc)

Endresult: 2 - 3 - 1
All of my games were absolutely amazing. Great to have played all opponents I've never faced who were fun to boot.

Was a great event, I love the new venue but I don't think they were warned about what the average blood bowler likes to consume. They tryed to feed us fruit for lunch and ran out of beer  it's like they don't know us at all.

Was nice to have been nominated for the painting for the first time ever (though after seeing the other amazing entries I felt I didn't deserve to be there)

Venue was great, especially the proximity to the hotel. Would definitely be happy going back there again. Was good playing 6 new people and catching up with some folks from the waterbowl. downside was finding myself foolishly drawing 3 games in a row from winning positions...
