The NAF Championship, May 19/20 2012 *PRE-REGISTRATION OPEN*

Hi everyone

May 19/20 2012, Warhammer World, Nottingham.

To secure your place:
-send £40 via paypal to thenafchampionship@gmail.com
-include your name, NAF name (if you are a member) and email address
-tickets can be bought as above from January 14th 2012

Also see instructions in the rulespack re roster pre-submission prior to the tournament date. Pre-registration is now open as of April 2nd 2012.

Clarification on use of miniatures (from Warhammer World Manager):
Regarding the non-GW model question- basically, if it is a citadel miniature, we’re ok with it! So if they’re old, even ancient citadel miniatures from previous editions, that’s good with us (even great – we love seeing old toys!). If it’s a conversion of a citadel miniature, that’s all good, so long as all components used are either citadel or completely scratch-sculpted with greenstuff.

Bring it on, I can't wait. One of my favorite venues. I will be checking out the rules in a bit but if they are anything like last years they are sure to be fair. :)

Re PayPal payment, that was the way some did it last year. I assume there are enough in the community who could help you out with this. If anyone is absolutely stuck send a message to NAFC queries account (thenafchampionship@gmail.com) and we'll try to sort an alternative payment method.

Cool enough pippy, I am quite confident i could use pay pa, but i do not support the product after the whole wiki-leaks affair.

Quick reminder...

Tickets go on sale the day after tomorrow. Saturday Jan 14th at 0900 GMT.

Space is limited so don't delay.

The team are currently working on a fantastic giveaway gift for all entrants. They're at least as good as last year's commemorative coin if not better.

Just bought a whole bunch of new minis. I'm making a team especially for this tourney.

Thanks to everyone who bought their tickets over the weekend. Looks like it's going to be another VERY good turnout :)

Regarding e-tickets from the NAF. It may be several weeks before they're sent out as we'll send in batches. Thanks for your patience!

@Pippy - how do I know whether you've received my payment (asking here as there may be other people wondering). At least an email confirmation or such like would be appreciated ;-)

You should have got an email from PayPal saying that you sent £40 to Paul Gegg. If you didn't then start to worry!

If you did, then that should be confirmation that your money has been received.

As Pete says, the confirmation from PayPal is the first step. Later we'll send a confirmation email like last year, it may well be a few weeks.

Much sooner than that I'll post a full list of entrants on the NAF site and on here. That should help assure people of their place, while they await their confirmation email.
