lol..if about 50 'fling teams turn up then they might get the hint that the ruleset is ludicrous and that nobody is taking it seriously. Especially if you don't bring a minimum 200 word essay about sticky buns.

I thought about sending in my essay together with a half eaten burger in advance, and then asking them to give me the burger back on Saturday morning (and I would of course tell them in my esay I will do so, just to check whether they read it or not)....you know, fluff gets more and more important these days!

I will phone up mail order now. I guess halfling teams are gone within a week now that word hit the streets...

Why not all of the players who have bought tickets email Fanatic to say that given the rules preview they want to return them for a refund unless the rules are changed.

If you all email then surely they will take notice.


As for writing some fluff ...... take an elf team and photcopy chunks of Elvish from LOTR.......

As Deathwing has said, that's a carbon copy of the 40K & WHFB rulesets with a bit of copy & paste.

Out of interest, I'm going to take the scores from this weekend and convert them into the BB system. Lets see what it comes up with.....

and I bet JJ would have it written in to the rules.

since the team you pick when you return your form does NOT have to be the one you take (you can choose on the day) I'm going to take a serious team and a fling team. When i get there if there are 10 or more fling teams then that's what I'm playing

Obviously someone at Gw thought: "Well, WFB is our battlesystem for fantasy past, 40K our battlesystem for the fantasy future and BB? Must be in between, with two skirmish units battling without weapons...!"

I get better started now with a team selection, sort out a theme a song, bring a fan club and claim for myself all the time that the whole world is my friend and I don't mind to lose all of my games.

Well I've emailed fanatic to give them my 2p on the rule set. Maybe they can change it...

I'd recommend everyone who cares writes a sensible email to them too. If 50 people complain then maybe they'll take notice.
