Thank you TBB

Post by PeteW »

Well done!

Despite my post pulling Simon's leg in general chat you guys run a very good site. Well organised, informative, useful and pleasant to be in. Good job!

Even when fumbbl is back up I might pop in here every so often to see what is going on, send pointed jobs at Gav and Geoff etc. and try to educate the non-fumbblers about the joy that is fumbbl (despite beign LRB4 and peppered with twits.)

Thank you for being a temporary home.

PeteW you crawler :puke:

Sadly there are quite a few n00bs and cherry pickers in FUMBBL, but once you get to know Pete he's actually quite good fun to play.

Well even if a Mod/Admin is editing a users Post (not talking about deleting here) you would still see the "Edited by XXXX at XXXX" message in it the same way as if you edit your own posts later.

[Edit - Oh no it won't!

The world ends and no one cares except dave. Which is a shame because everyone is called dave.

THAT is interresting. At those last 3 Forums i was a Mod it always showed who made the Edit to someone elses post. No matter if it made a Mod, an Admin, or the User self.

well maybe it is anything that has to be activated :)
on 2 SMF and 1 PHP Forums it showed... and I always liked it that you see if some Mod edited your posts.

Without any proof it was edited I could write something totally average and then a mod sneaks in to edit it into somethign racial political ethical wich then would seem strange to anyone else.

Not saying that the Mods here would do that [Looks strangly to Darkson]

:)

I consider that mandatory behaviour.

Of course, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Especially if you've ever seen Gav properly pissed up.

and they think the same about me so that's all alright.

Gotta love this community.

And at least someone thinks we're not a bunch of facists in GW's thrall...
