Most NAF tourneys played in a year?

Does anyone know what the record for this is? (It feels like this is information that should be fairly well known). I seem to remember a post from Joemanji claiming it as Lycos' 26 in 2011, but can't remember which forum and now can't find it nor any other discussion on the subject.

(Yes, I just rewatched The Big Year)

AFAIR the Lycos one is the one I was always told. Think there was also a couple of years Jim did a s***ton of tournaments

Edit: Thats Jimjimany rather than Besters but that Jim also gets around

Is there a leader board on most tournament matches played in a year? I have 51 games planned for this year so far ( but will probably be going to more as the year goes on)

This is incredible. I did 13 tournaments one year which is plenty. Sadly my average is going down rather than up

For clarity's sake, I believe mubo's numbers are in matches, not tournaments. Still pretty huge.

If 28 was the record, it has been broken by Bluewing711 of Florida, who has 31 and will probably get 5 or 6 in before the end of the year. No such thing as too much Blood Bowl!

Oh no, plenty of variants in there. Only ten regular Blood Bowl tournaments.

I seem to cap at around 12 in a year.
2009 - 3
2010 - 6
2011 - 5
2012 - 7
2013 - 12 (also the inaugural year for the SWTC. Coincidence?)
2014 - 12
2015 - 12
2016 - 10
2017 - 9
2018 - 9 +4 sevens.

That decline is likely to continue due to Ziggy. Until s/he is old enough to come with me to tourneys
