Hi there.

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Could someone instruct me to an easy and pretty way of presenting the NAF-ranking page filtered on whatever (for instance Norway, Lizardmen) on Facebook etc? Is grab a screen shot the best option?

That's cool, thanks Kyrre. Sorry Straume, does he answer your question, or is there more you are after?

We actually took the chat to PM.

And I guess yes and no. I am aware on how to filter stuff on the rankings page, what I would like is a "share" button that would share the selected ranking table on Facebook. Or a link that remembers what filters I have chosen.

The best option I have found is grab a screenshot using a firefox add-on and upload the picture. Which works, but is a bit clunky.

Sann0638, are you close to whoever made the ranking list on the website? If so, may I suggest changing the filter form's method from POST to GET?

It would make linking to a specific list selection easier, due to any selected filters being part of the actual URL in the user's address bar. Unless I am missing something, as I often do, it may be a simple text replacement.

From:

Code: Select all

<form method="POST" ...
To:

Code: Select all

<form method="GET" ...
As an added benefit it will allow Google and its enemies to index the different lists as well.
