The first cup of the season is now available for sign up. This cup is open to teams that have played two games or less. This tournament we will be trying something new this time around. This cup will be 4 rounds, Swiss style pairings. There will be no play offs for this cup. If you are unfamiliar with Swiss style pairings, when teams face off all the winning teams will be moved up and face each other. While the teams that lost will play each other. This format is commonly used in tournament settings.

After the four rounds are complete, the player with the most points wins. Should there be a tie the following tie breakers will be used to determine the winner. Head to head record, then TD's, then casualties.

The coach may select 3 players from their roster. Randomly select one of those players. That player is awarded the Pro skill for free and a MVP award. That player has earned the title of Spike Magazine's Rising Star.

Deadline for registering your teams for this Cup is Friday March 6th 2015. The cup will start on Sunday March 8th 2015. For the first round the teams will be randomly paired. I will announce the pairings on Saturday morning. With the swiss style pairings the schedule must be adhered to 1 round per week. The week will run Sunday - Saturday at 6:00 PM. The week will turn over and we will post the pairings for the next round. Should two coaches be unavailable to play the match, both teams will be given a 0-0 tie.
