Leagues or clubs in Staffordshire

Post by ChrisSnape »

Hi everyone,

First post on here, old GW Stoke key timer from 1999, trying to get back into BB.

Anyone know of any leagues or clubs, either NAF or not, that I can contact?

Seen some posts on here referring to a Stafford league but all are 3+ years old.

Want to try and attend Nottingham GW tourney next year and need lots of practice beforehand!!

Regards,
Chris Snape

Daventry league isn't far depending where exactly you are. We have at least one player from Staffs.

Not sure about any leagues a long shots too see if GW in Hanley know of any. Worst case I'll give you a game next time I'm back home but unfortunately that's not very often!

Maybe we can rouse some interest on here and perhaps organise a staffordshire gathering sometime? Not necessarily a tourney but a good few games and maybe a beer!

Anyone else be interested in a gathering somewhere in central Staffordshire?

There are 3 of us BB players from Cheshire that go along to a wargames club in Stoke. We could arrange a game or two there.

2 of us are involved in a league in Cheshire at the moment, so probably not to arrange a league for now.

If you're in Cannock, then perhaps try Portal Wargaming in Burton on Wednesday nights - 'only' 35 or 40 minutes away.

We have 20 players in our current Blood Bowl League, and there's usually someone around for a pick-up game or so. Plus there's 40K, WFB, Magic and plenty of other things.
