now that is not nice rab
you should not ridicle the beginner, lets face it i not got much chance since i dont know the rules but i will be playing for the fun of it
but on a good point i have started sorting my orc team out for elfball, i have got 4 models that i am painting at the moment and got the others coming in the post in a couple of weeks
hopefully i can get the team painted in time!!!

Hangus beat me in his first proper game I believe, and came mid-table so don't underestimate your chances!malcbutch wrote:lets face it i not got much chance since i dont know the rules but i will be playing for the fun of it
The rules are pretty simple to pick up, so study the rulebook before the tourney and hopefully if we get there early I'd be happy to play a practice game to get you up to speed!

We should be able to get a game in after school at some point before the tourney, I reckon; I could do with more practice, too.malcbutch wrote:I don't know the rules but I will be playing for the fun of it

I'm still waiting for my Black Rock team (using the Gaspez Dwarves and Bulls with the Black Rock Hobimps) to arrive from Impact! and then I'll be on a mission to get them painted by the tourney. With Chris putting up the points cost it'll probably mean more painting .

We had some packages get lost by the post it would appear based on the emails we've had related to that batch that went to the post. We are reshipping around 40 packages again to make sure they get to people. If you get your order twice Matt ... let me know ... but the 2nd shipment is on the way. It was repacked today and is shipping out again tomorrow. Hopefully the first package will arrive soon ... if not the 2nd should be there in 2 weeks.mattwhile wrote:I'm still waiting for my Black Rock team (using the Gaspez Dwarves and Bulls with the Black Rock Hobimps) to arrive from Impact! and then I'll be on a mission to get them painted by the tourney. Thanks Tom. Will let you know if two arrive. I was going to let you know next week if they hadn't arrived by then.
Do you think the Bulls will fit on some 25mm hex bases?

No sure at 25mm. They ship with 30mm bases which they do fit on. I don't have any left in stock right now until I get in more from Gaspez to be able to fully answer that.mattwhile wrote:Thanks Tom. And sorry for thread de-railment. Hope the tournament is incredible. The Elfball 2 minute warning printers said they should be able to get me cards in time to send some to the tournament.

Really looking forward to the tourney. What teams are people thinking of taking? The last one seemed to have a good spread.

Thinking about middle kingdoms, as I'm unlikely to get my sarcos done in time. Two Monsters sounds good to me!

I'm considering night elves if I can paint them up in time!
