Have the Sarcos arrived yet? I shipped them out via the fast plane ... so they should get there in time.

Not yet, but a good week to go. Looking forward to seeing them, and a fun day. Late entrants very welcome!

If for some reason they do not arrive ... print off a picture of them and I'll cover the expense to have you ship them to the winner when they do come in. They should get there though.

Sorry to say that I'm not going to be able to make it. It's the sister-in-laws' 30th birthday meal, and the wife would kill me if I missed it.

The Sarcos have arrived! Looking great. Now all I need is there for to be an even number of players, to win the tournament, and then to get over the morality of winning my own tournament

I think you'll struggle not to win, given that you are the only one who knows how to play.

We've actually sold a pretty good number of the games. The question is how many we sold to the folks coming to the tournament.

We need to get that Java Client up and running thats easily used, that will get people playing and au fait with the rules and can see there being more interest in tournaments

I had a play with that VASSAL client but to fit the whole pitch in you have to make it so small. Kind of put me off.

Owning the game /= knowing how to play it. :P

The funny thing with elfball is you don't actually need to see the whole board at a time. A lot of the action is fairly localised. Do see your point though.
