THE ROAR OF THE CROWD!

THE CLASH OF TITANS!

THE STENCH OF GLORY!

And that's just the bar before kickoff.

This is Blood Bowl.

This is CRASH BALL, baby!

Welcome sports fan!

The fan favourite, beer fuelled Blood Bowl tournament triumphantly returns for it's sixth year in 2018 and you can be part of it!

What's all the fuss about?

Crash Ball is a one day, three round, casual Blood Bowl event from The Fownes Brewing Company. The focus is on having fun, a few beers and making memories, rather than just winning.

Now in it's sixth year, Crash Ball's popularity continues to grow as players from across the UK make their way to Walsall in the West Midlands. There they enjoy a few beers and get to play their favourite fantasy football game with like minded gamers in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

Sounds great, what do I need to know?

We'll keep things simple:

- Once again Asgard Games in Walsall is our arena of choice. (https://www.facebook.com/AsgardGamesUk)

- Tickets cost just £15, which includes entry to the event, lunch on the day and a special, soon to be revealed, exclusive extra.

- Crash Ball is fully sanctioned by the NAF.

- Get your ticket on Evenbrite: https://crashball6.eventbrite.co.uk

- Head over to the Facebook event to let us know you're coming!

Great, so now I've bought my ticket, what are the dull but surprisingly important bits I need to know?

Crash Ball is contested over three matches. Matches have a game time limit of two hours. We will be running an optional 4-minute turn timer for new players and those concerned about having enough time to play all 16 turns.

As this is a fun-focused event, the first tie-breaker we will be using to seperate players is your Sporting Player score. This ensures that our overall winner will not only have played well, but also been a great opponent!

Prizes this year will include certificates for first and second place, most sporting player and best painted team, as well as spot prizes available on the day. Other prizes will be announced soon.
(Check the Facebook event page for updates on prizes!)

Players will need to bring their own, fully painted and legal team (purchased for no more than 1,000,000 gold pieces from the current rules books and PDFs), team roster, a pitch, templates and counters.

If you do not have a team but wish to attend please get in touch as we have some spare Brewery sponsored teams that can be lent out.

Teams will reset at the end of each game. This means you can play hard and still have your team at full strength for the next game!

If you have any questions please then feel free to contact us via info@fownesbrewing.co.uk

Please note: Due to the availability of alcohol at this event it is strictly 18+ only.

What could be better than a day spent playing the world's greatest fantasy football boardgame, surrounded by like-minded, laid back gamers and drinking a few beers?

Nothing. But that's not to say you don't deserve to be rewarded for a hard day's gaming!

It is our great pleasure to announce the carefully hand picked prizes on offer to our Star Coaches at this year's Crash Ball event, and I'm sure you'll agree: we've really outdone ourselves this time!

If you come along and play Blood Bowl with us, we think you're awesome! And, as such, everyone who enters this year's event will receive a custom Crash Ball VI participation medal!

Crash Ball isn't all about winning, it's also about being a good sport and showing off your painting skills, and we want to make sure you're encouraged to do both!

This year the coach of the team with the best uniforms will receive a brush maintenance kit, to help keep their brushes in tip-top condition.

If you go above and beyond to make sure your opponents have as much fun as you then you could be the one going home with a really awesome Jim & Bob canvas poster!

Going for the big one? This year's top prize is one you can enjoy all year 'round! The overall winner of this year's event will not only be crowned Crash Ball VI Grand Champion, but will walk away with a one-of-a-kind, engraved tankard! Perfect for supping a Fownes Brewing Company ale from while you coach your team to victory!

So there you go! Hopefully you're as hyped as we are for Crash Ball VI. But there's only one way to get your hands on these awesome prizes and that's to buy a ticket and join us on March 10th at Asgard Games in Walsall.

Wish I could make this but it clashes with the Mother's Day weekend.

Had a great time at the last one. Friendly group and great beer. What could be better!

All the best for the tournament and hopefully I can make the next one :)
