The Elflympic Games || 03/12/16, Yate || Wobert wins!

Post by Twelfman »

Come one, come all! It's the inaugural, the inceptive, the very first Elflympic Games!

The Elflympic Games is a four game tournament held in Yate, about 11 miles north of Bristol.

Find the full rulespack attached, as well as a custom excel roster that will allow you to make teams according to the ruleset (look at post below).

Here's a quick summary though:

1,350TV, skills are bought from the same budget. Most skills are costed at normal TV rate with some exceptions. All teams are allowed, not just elves! 14/6/1 for W/D/L, with bonus points available for TDs, Interceptions and Completions.

Skills =/= stats. No stat ups chaps (and chapettes).

Resurrection stylie.

All inducements barring Mercs are allowed. If the same Star is taken by two coaches in one match, they will not play in that game. A joint weather roll is made at the start of the round which everyone will share.

You need 11 rostered players before Stars. (thanks glow!)

Cost: £10.
Paypal (friends and family) to alex_turner4 AT hotmail.com.

Timings:

9am - Registration opens
9.30 - Game One
11.45 - Game Two
13.45 - Lunch
14.15 - Game Three
16.30 - Game Four
18.45 - Awards and Close

NAF approved.

Yate Parish Hall,
Station Road,
Yate,
South Gloucestershire,
BS37 4PQ

Space wise there are thirteen tables, so with two coaches per table there's room for twenty six. The tables are long enough that we can fit two boards per table if we play lengthways, aka fumbbl style. We should be able to play longways, but if there's a lot of interest you might have to play wideways, just be aware!

Paid:
1. Nazgob
2. Angry Hobbit
3. Wobert
4. Jip
5. Little Jip
6. Nightwing
7. Merrick
8. Glowworm
9. Leipziger

Busy weekend, old chap. You are competing directly with the Albion Coast Trophy that weekend. Yes you are Saturday and the ACT is Sunday but that's still competition. I'm going to ACT and can't do Saturday as well, for example.

Good luck, though :)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Without checking any dates or confirming with the boss i'd like to express my enthusiasm in crushing some pansy elves.

Is lunch included in this elfmenz killathon?

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

I've been in contact with Block, and although it does (sort of) clash with ACT, he's given me his blessing. It was either this or put it two weeks before Christmas, which is risky too... It's hard finding time for Tournaments! There's too many already!

Lunch ain't included (as yet), but the venue is literally on the same road as a huge tesco, morrisons, chip shop, small tesco and like a minutes walk from McDonalds, Subway, etc!

Team roster says 'Over Budget' when you are at 1,350,000 exactly. Shoddy, Alex, very shoddy

Sorry mate! I updated the main post after you asked. Yes you do need 11 players (though with 1,350,000 you should be fine!)
