Unfortunately a week before the ARBBL, else I would have combined this with a visit to my brother in Colchester.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Great to see lots of interest already. Working out the hall space we can take 60 max. So plenty of room for all to join in. Rulespack is almost there, been hard with no internet at home for almost three weeks (Thanks Virgin -_-...) and once the rulespack is up we will start taking payments. The hall is also now booked and ready for our use over the two days. Now the big question.....Indian or Pub food?!

Re: Boudica Bowl I - Huntingdon,Cambs - 9th/10th March 2013
What were you thinking for the points system ? Just finished playing at BunkerBowl and while it was a very well run thoroughly enjoyable event the points system was not a friend to those of us with stunty teams.
The points system was 3 points for a win 1 point for a draw. Up too 3 points for casualties and Up to 3 points for touchdowns. There is a combined maximum of 5 bonus points.
Sounds fine but you could lose all your games with say norse but easily cause say 3 casualties a game and score twice - you now have 11 points. As a stunty team I win a game, draw a game, and lose a game - so I have 4 points. But as a stunty I cause only 1 casualty and only score twice in the 3 games. So a team on 1-1-1 has 7 points and is being beaten by a team on 0-0-3.
All the stunty's has the same points system of course so it was fine for determining the winner of the stunty cup but as stunty teams tend to win by small margins (if at all) the stunty teams did very badly in overall rankings compared to other teams.
A few of us were chatting about it and thought that say 30 points for a win then either 10 or 15 points for a draw (I think 15 myself) then add the bonus points. That way the bonus points matter for working out the top spot etc but the result of the games is most important to how well you do and to whom you will play next.
Just my two pence worth will be there whatever probably with Undead unless you invent a tier five with all snotling Ogre teams in said tier and allow them 1500000 team value and full access to all inducements including wizards and special play cards. In that case I will reprise my very popular Bunkerbowl team for you
