i thought the point was just to participate, not be picky of what team is chosen

Well, I'm in no matter what the team is. I understand that people are goign to be picky about what team to do, though. What we should do is find out who is only willing to work for certen teams, and what those teams are, and who is willing to work no matter the team. That way, we can get an idea of how realistic this project is.

there are some teams i'd rather not do, but i really dont care what is chosen. i dont have to privilage to have spare minis sitting around. i think i may have a total of 50 minis and all are used. so i'm buying anything we decide, so i dont care what it turns out to be. the only problem is ogres, because they dont sell them in stores anymore

Which ever team we go for I'll probably have to buy the model for, so I don't really care. I'm hoping taking part in something like this will give me an incentive to paint more (read - start painting).

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

OK, I just bought a blister pack of Skaven plague monk (I think) command for something else, but I could do up the musician if we decide to do Skaven (would prefer that to Chaos). Maybe we should vote on a colour sceme for each of the 2 top choices, then the final vote for which team to do would be only one vote (just an idea).
BTW, have we figured out who is going to co-ordinate this whole project (like Milo did with the last one). I remember Tim posting something that he was interested, but nothing was decided definately and haven't seen any posts by him in this thread for a while.

i agree with the dummy. i have nothing wrong with ogres, except their price. i like dark green and grey. could be fun colors for the little warp fiends. and chaos, anyone ever done a chaos team WITHOUT any main metalic colors? just curious on how it would look, maybe cool, maybe stupid. trial and error, my friends, trial and error
