2019 TFF Legacy Team - Colour choice

So it's Red and Black/Brass as a winner. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendation about making sure that it ends up looking like Brass rather than gold? I've got Sycorax Bronze as a paint, if that would be close enough.

Brass tends to be darker than gold, so mixing some dark brown in with gold/bronze would be a start. Alternatively giving it some washes of brown or black would work.

Also, going easy on the highlights to make it look duller.
