2012 TFF Legacy Team?

Post by axiom »

So, 2012 is here, the 2011 legacy team has been created and awarded. Shall we start discussing the legacy team for 2012?

Here's the list of previous teams:
2003 Goblin
2004 Chaos
2005 Skaven
2006 Dark Elves
2007 Chaos Dwarf
2008 Chaos Pact
2009 Necromantic
2010 Human
2011 Orcs

The long-list of possible teams is Amazons, Dwarfs, Elves, Halflings, High Elves, Lizardmen, Norse, Ogres, Slann, Tomb Kings, Undead, Vampires or Wood Elves

Is anyone interested in co-ordinating this year? I'd be happy to do it (am in the UK); I think Fred said he'd also be happy to co-ordinate following on from 2011 (correct me if I'm wrong Fred).

BTW, Happy New Year everyone!

Well I'm more than willing to join in, my vote goes to undead. Or maybe slann, I still have a few of those left over.

I'll certainly pitch in, Undead is a good one, khemri could be good too.

I'm up for it too. Norse or Lizards being my preference.

Having missed out on one or two, I'd be happy to join in painting for the '12 one.
Count me in. Don't mind which race but would love to hunt down and paint a Slann mini.

My only worry with Slann is that the models might not tie together very well - lots of styles out there.

Norse (warband) and undead might perhaps suit the individual approach best? I would like to participate but would need to get it out of the way early in the year!

Vampires could also be quite disparate.

Undead would be ideal for this, since it's very accommodating to different looks to the minis. Pro elves could be interesting too, since they could be more individualistic than you'd expect high or wood elves to be.

Did you miss underworld off the list or is that my imagination? That would be a right cracker of a legacy team. Can you imagine the possibilities? That and it lines up with this months golden football ;)
Seems now would be a good time for voting threads, both for race and team colours.

Hey Axiom!

Yes, I said I'd be interested in co-ordinating, but can move aside one year if someone else wants to do it. It is a great deal of fun receiving all the minis and seeing them together!

That being said, things are getting settled around here, so the 2011 team will be mailed this week.

So I'm all for organiszing, or simply helping: I could be North America's shipping point to have just one box shipped out at the end of the year.

I'll vote for a race when there's a poll up!

Fred

Fred - I'm happy to act as the UK/European shipping point if needed :)
