Re: 2009 Legacy Team - Final Stage - Lets get painting
All in all very nice, hope to see some more team-shots when all the minis are there.
Enjoyed doing this, dunno when the next one will be but I will probably/possibly participate.

Re: 2009 Legacy Team - Final Stage - Lets get painting
I am also excited about this years team, it looks very nice from what I've seen so far. Someone will get a great looking team!
I wonder if anyone's ever thought of doing a Green Stuff Legacy Team? Where each entry must be an original green; perhaps even the final team is not painted, but rather cast into figures for sale to help support the website? And one lucky contributor wins a whole cast team. Just a thought.

Very cool idea - I'd be up for this. Though my figure would have to be the lesser known "blobby mess" figure.OdoGoodgrubb wrote:I wonder if anyone's ever thought of doing a Green Stuff Legacy Team? I've got the 2nd blobby mess positional then. I would love to see a team like this, but I do not have the talent to participate.sann0638 wrote:Very cool idea - I'd be up for this. Re: 2009 Legacy Team - Final Stage - Lets get painting
You might be able to get away with 'every figure must be converted in some way' but a figure from scratch - the amount of talent and time required to do that would severely limit the number of entries I suspect.
Considering how many members there are to this forum, the number of people who have entered is not very large and i suspect that it would then be a very small percentage of those who have entered who would be up to doing a new fig.
Lovely idea though!

Right I think I know about all minis apart from coma and daloonieshaman. What is the status of your minis guys?
Simon/Cookie - your mini must have gone AWOL in the post, I don't suppose it has made its way back to you yet?
Apart from coma and daloonieshaman, we have 25 entrants for the draw. The plan is to work out a system so that the winner is decided by the Lotto 'Dream Number' in saturdays draw - this is 10 random numbers from 0-9 which should pick a completely random and unbiased winner.

Re: 2009 Legacy Team - Final Stage - Lets get painting
What about making a list of people and numbering each player 1-25, add the total 10 lotto numbers (0-90), go along the list till you get the winner. E.G. Total of 43 would mean number 18 wins.

Re: 2009 Legacy Team - Final Stage - Lets get painting
Right, here is how the draw will work:
Round 1
Everyone is devided into three groups of nine and each group has three numbers assigned to them. The first ball from the Lotto Dream Number will determin which group moves on to Round 2
Group 1 - Lotto Dream Numbers 1, 2 & 3
1 - Mrbrownesquire
2 - purdindas
3 - Cookie
4 - rodders
5 - bjorn9486
6 - Punkpogoer
7 - Master Wang
8 - wesleytj
9 - wedge22
Group 2 - Lotto Dream Numbers 4, 5 & 6
1 - sann0638
2 - Catt
3 - Joemanji
4 - mdb7575
5 - Magictobe
6 - JaM
7 - daloonieshaman
8 - Blammaham
9 - Gus_the_hut
Group 3 - Lotto Dream Numbers 7, 8 & 9
1 - boondog
2 - Pug
3 - shaniepoo
4 - coma
5 - MyKi#1
6 - Spiky
7 - OdoGoodgrubb
8 - Stu
9 - zakspeed
If the ball is 0, then the next number will determin the group.
Round 2
The overall winner will be decided by the second Lotto Dream Number ball. Each person in each group has a number between 1 and 9 next to their name; if the first number matches their group and the second ball matches their individual number, then they win the team.
If the second ball is 0, then the following ball will determine the winner.
For example, if the first 2 balls of the Lotto Dream Number are 7 and 8, then Stu will have won the team.
Here is the web page for the results, and the draw is on Sat 9th Jan:

Good luck everybody, and remember, it could be you!
