It was a 2-2 draw v dpwright's Vampires, whose Hypnotic Gaze played havoc with an already slightly mentall challenged team :)

Casualties went to cookie, lauth81 (first action of the game, smashing a thrall's ankle), myself the ogre and bloodnole's goblin :o

mrbrownesquire and punkpogoer picked up TDs, with brage97 getting a completion. Despite the prolific and scattered SPPs, no skills turned up as odogoodgrubb got the MVP.

It was sweltering heat for virtually the whole match, which affected people differently depending on their country of origin. Lowlight of the match was bloodnole's goblin dropping the ball on a handoff, but he made up for it later when he killed a thrall who had the temerity to block him!

Let's see who's up next...

wooo, touchdown!

I will look forward to more match reports and pics when the team arrives

Just noticed that landrover is missing from the team! He was there when I created it, but disappeared when I loaded him up. No offence!

Playing Valen's Chaos Pact team - punkpogoer on the ball, blitzed by a marauder, who promptly dies!

Makes the quick pass to lauth for the TD :D

Slightly rubbish SPP management, as punkpogoer was meant to get the TD for a skill, but you take what you can get!

edit: actually very good skilling, as 3 for the previous TD, plus one for the comp, plus 2 for the cas = skill!

Well, that was a game and a half! Although technically it was only half a game, as Valen conceded at half time just after lauth badly hurt a player then darkson designed killed a marauder - second one of the match

This led to a couple of MVPs, and consequently 4 skill rolls:

Sann the ogre: Break Tackle (only mutations on a double). Guard would have been more sensible, but this is my own figure, and I like BT!

Cookie the skaven: Extra Arms (don't know if the figure has it, but loving the 2+ pickup)

Lauth the marauder: Now captain of the team, with Leader. He'll get extra arms next, as the figure has it, but I am short of rerolls!

and...

Punkpogoer, +1 ST!

Now at 120TV, landrover has joined the team on a permanent basis as number 66, with 120k in the bank, 20k more needed for the next reroll.

Team TBB goes rolling on...

That goblin is better than any of mine. I should have never sent him on. The transfer fee to get him back is now out of my budget.

Hi all,
I'm hoping to take this team to the waterbowl, and choose mutations to reflect the figures (maybe not tactically astute, but fun). Could you olet me know which mutation s you've put on your figures, as I'd like to playtest the team beforehand using proxies.

Cheers,
Mike

PS thanks thadrin!

Edit: just looked at the picture, and there's
bloodnole - claw
brage - claw
lauth - extra arms
marauder - tentacles and two heads!
marauder - horns (small horns!)
ogre - tentacles and claw

Tempted to give the ogre either tentacles or claw - which would people go for?

I'm going to move the blog to here:

That seems to be the place for tactics, blogging etc.
