It was pink and white last year, yes. I think green is a great choice, personally. The Chaos Renegade team of yesteryear was green and it was a great looking team. It's an adaptable and forgiving colour.

I was favouring the lime green suggestion, although I'm not certain about the accompanying banana yellow...
purple and yellow is good too, I painted my human team in those colours.
