Interesting idea, we'll look into it :-).

One is probably Buzzcut, which would nice to have as a reward.

But the other one, looks more interesting. Who could that be.

By the way, another suggestion: Besides improving a little bit the website (at least the menu, it looks really poor), I think it would be great to have a forum, where you could collect all the feedback. It would be also an interesting tool to see where people come from, so that the organization of future leagues might be easier.
One is definitely Buzzcut. The other is causing quite a stir in the world of Warpath at the moment... ;)

Enough? Do gamers even know that word? :P
Lard wrote:I would like Alternatively Posed Players for the dwarves and rats . I think it is better to do 4 teams "all the way" then to have many teams with few poses. Alot of MVP:s could also make up for that as they are "alternativ" miniatures of their chosen race.

I would also like to see a bump up to 12 players for the dwarves and rats as well.

But most of all would I like to see a gameplay video asap.
All of the above is on it's way! Gameplay video should be tomorrow or early next week :)

+1 on that.
+2

The video is the only thing that is keeping me from jumping on this. I want to see a game in action to see how all the the rules that sound great flow together.

PLEASE POST A GAME PLAY VIDEO!!!

Great start guys
I have faith in the game besides we can always riot and change the turn of the game (oops sorry wrong game...)

I am hoping that the horde here in L.A. will jump on board once we get ours and it hits the stores (if they choose not to pledge)

I know I am reaching for the stars on this one ... Is it possible (and affordable enough) to add the MDF pitch at say 215k-225k?

Thanks Borthcollective - the rest of the game will be posted up shortly, once we've finished editing the video.

I don't really understand the stance of the nay-sayers on this thread. What are you trying to achieve? That you can convince Mantic not to release the game? Not going to happen, methinks.

There have also been some comments about the miniatures that you get in the Dreadball box. Compared to the miniatures you get in other boxed fantasy 'football' games, I think all the Dreadball ones look great.

I've pledged to this on Kickstarter for the simple reason that I love these sort of games and while I own and play Bloodbowl, Elfball and Grind, Dreadball looks sufficiently different to make it an interesting (and hopefully fun) addition to the gaming genre.

Also, it looks a bit (and only a bit) like Rollerball - can we have a star player (or should that be MVP?) on a motorbike please?

Those Forge Fathers will be my new Dwarf team. If I can get my hands on 12 at a decent price it's no contest, I'm havin' em!

They much bigger than the Greebo CD's? They're the best new take on Dwarf players I've seen so I can live with the size.

If you get cheerleader/showboat do you get 2x/3x the strech goals?
