Cool. :D Interesting angle, I thought about how to make a BB card game work but playing out a whole season is not something I considered. Out of match events are probably better suited to a card game than actual sports play, so this might work.

Just as long as it is not one of those card games where you have to buy hundreds of booster packs to try and get the best ones!

It does sound like that (they call it a 'deck building game').

I think it might have a deck building mechanic more in line with Dominion or Thunderstone as opposed to a CCG with cards of varying degrees of rarity like Magic: the Gathering.

I hope, anyway.

I haven't played it myself, but word around the campfire is that A Game of Thrones LCG is quite good.

They also just announced Lord of the Rings LCG.

LCG? I'm suffering mind funk.

Also, am I right in saying that Warhammer Invasions is not collectible?

LCG = Living Card Game

Fantasy Flight defines it as such:
A Living Card Game (LCG) is a game that breaks away from the traditional Collectible Card Game (CCG) model by offering a new fixed card distribution method that still offers the same dynamic customizable, expanding, and constantly evolving game play that makes CCG’s so much fun, but without the blind buy purchase model that has burned out so many players. The end result is an innovative mix that gives you the best of both worlds!
