Grind

Post by bouncergriim »

I love this game and am wondering if there are any other Grinder players out there (aside from Digger and I).

I think it is a great fast paced alternative to BB. I still think BB rocks in a league setting. But Grind really shines in one off plays.

I never heard of this game

Should I just google search "Grind" to find out more information?

You won't regret it.... It plays quicker than BB and has it's own flavor and unique enough mechanics to make it a co-equal in the fantasy-game arena....

Let's not get too hasty there

I've watched most of a game, and as I'm starting to be something of a board gamer I may pick it up. But to me, it's no substitute for BB.

Admittedly, I'm not annoyed anough by GW to get off the BB boat just yet (my Skaven are only half painted...)

As far as being a "co-equal", I mean I like playing both! A great Saturday would have me playing a game of each....

Just watched the video tutorials. Looks like it might be fun. Certainly less complicated than the original rules they published in No Quarter magazine.

I might stick it on my christmas list. Might just treat myself to it depending on price. I might not bother. We'll see.

The cheapest price, here in the States, was from Cardhaus @ (I think) $43 USD + shipping....

Grind is a great game. It didn't last centuries to get a whole game done and it's not complicated with it's rules.
Very quick, very funny and you need to buy just one box.
Better then bb? No!
But when you stay at home with your friends having a beer or two, you can play a round of grind in 30 min.
Perfect for that.
