Chaos Dwarf team build for NAF Championship

Post by Skaffen »

Hi everyone,

I want to take Chaos Dwarves to the NAF Championship.
TV 1,100,000 - 3 single skills day 1 additional 3 single skills day 2

My initial thoughts are

2xBull Cen
6xCD
1xMino
3xHob
2xRerolls
1FF

Skills day 1 block on both Bull Cens and Juggernaught on the Mino
Day 2 3xGuard on CDs.

Thoughts?

Drop the mino, add more rerolls and hobgobs..

Ah, the glorious Hatters! That is a solid build you have suggested.

Break Tackle should be a consideration for one Bull. Really gives the option for some heroics.

And indeed dropping the Mino (adds one guard for day1) might be an option. Mino/no mino is a tricky one, though, and I suppose you won`t really go wrong either way.

If I drop the Mino I can get either 2 more rerolls and one more fan factor or 1 more reroll and 2 more Hobs. I quite like playing with the Mino so far. I tend to blitz with him where ever possible which keeps wild animal down a bit. I am undicided at the moment. Break Tackle is a thought, it does give him the option to get out of all sorts of trouble but will he use block more of the time?

I think the option of two hobgoblins plus re-roll is more competitive than taking the minotaur. But possibly less fun!

If you take Block the minotaur is easily tied up, if you take Break Tackle you know you will need Block.

With an ag3 or less team, I also think you need three re-rolls.

I hate agreeing with Darkson!

Imho the better Roster is only 2 Hobgoblins and an Apo ( which is only for dwarfs and bulls - you really dont want your bulls out) - took it to some success on different tournaments 3 RR aren't needed

youll need the mino in some matchups! just dont get him a skill. frenzy is important as it will get the opponents closer to the center where your dwarfs are - this may depend on playstyle though - there are some ppl that had success without an minotaur.

i prefer block and BT on the bulls with 1 guard on day 1

3 Guards on day 2 (which may be changed to 2 guards 1 MB)
