*Everything in the first section of code it taken from the 2002 Bloodbowl Handbook and is not mine in any way, shape or form.*
2002 Bloodbowl Handbook wrote: "Under an ancient charter, each year the Reikland Reavers are beholden to take on a young orphan from Altdorf's schools as an apprentice. This practice has often paid off, as most of the young foundlings have grown up to be real tough cookies who'd bit an Orc's leg off as soon as tackle him. However, when in 2468, a hulking great, useless, whimpering lump known only as Zug arrived as that year's selection, the Reavers suspected they'd been sold a dummy. He was huge, overweight and unfit, ugly, brutish and apparently very stupid. As a result, he was also very unhappy and made life a living hell for the rest of the apprentices with his uncooperative behavior.

After several months of nonsense from the mountainous lump, head coach Helmut Zwimmer could stand the disruption no longer and decided to take Zug in hand. Zwimmer has never been known for his gentle approach to coaching, and gradually he managed to penetrate the clouds surrounding his pupil's brain. A new, happier Zug began training with the rest of the team. Everyone soon realised just what an achievement their head coach had made, for the new Zug was a revlation. His immense bulk was offset by a very skillful co-ordination; this guy had size and strength, and he knew what to do with them!

Zug played his first game for the Reavers' first team in the autumn of 2476, and succeeded in making his presence felt by injuring eight Middenheim players in the first half. Over the years, he has become a firm favourite with the fans, for he can be a most exhilarating player to watch. Sure, he doesn't do all the fancy stuff - he rarely breaks out of a walk, for example; but he's an expert at incapacitating an opponent with a simple backhand swipe of one of his great paws. One interesting result of this technique is that he has the largest collection of Orc teeth in the Empire."

*This second 1/2 is what I am proposing being added to his history*

Zug has since again and again hypnotized crowds with his ability to inflict casualty after casualty. One particular incident was with an wardancer by the name of Androwous Syndwiner (no relation to Eldril Sidewinder). Leading up to the game Syndwiner continually mocked the Reavers about not being able to touch him and he was personally going to put double-digit points on the board for his team, and he did follow through with his promise; time after time he would leap over the Reaver's line and recover the ball to score one time even commenting while flying over Zug how shiny his head was. This infuriated Zug to the point that the entire halftime show was canceled to the fit Zug was throwing on the pitch. The Reavers were set up to receive at the beginning of the second half, but Zug was no where to be seen. The crowed, after his "spectacular" half time show could have cared less. The ball was snapped and Syndwiner jumped over the Reavers defense... and right into the hands of Zug. No one is quite sure where he came from that day, but they sure know what happened shortly there after. Zug slammed Syndwiner into the ground so hard that the imprint left was deeper than two halfings, one on top of the other's shoulders.

Zug also is credited with the record of most casualties in a single game by a single player. Cable-vision profits were down, so in order to bring them back into the black, they decided to hold a tournament so brutal that the name said it all; Deathbowl. In an unprecedented move, they decided to have four teams battle over two balls to see who could cause the most mayhem while possibly scoring a point or two. Noted for their fanatic tendencies however, no one could find a referee that would oversee the carnage on the field. Digging deep into their pockets however, they decided to bring the single craziest man back onto the field to be the ref; Zug. Figuring no one in the right-or-wrong mind would mess would him, he would be able to officiate the game effectively. They could not however foresee a player from the Evil Gitz spilling blood on his nice officiating uniform, sending him into a violent rage that ended in 46 deaths including a Goblin on a pogostick weilding a chainsaw, a Chaos cheerleader with two heads and a single leg and an extremely plump halfling who had apparently eaten a dozen or so hotdogs before the game. After that Cable-vision decided that it was better just not to have a referee and leave it to the teams to work out; it would lead to a lot less casualties.
