After Event Fundrasising

Dear World Cup supporters,

We are close to wrapping-up the finances for the World Cup, and we are faced with a probable deficit. This deficit has been caused by some unforeseen circumstances and lower than expected World Cup merchandise sales. The full magnitude of the loss is dependent on the level of tax paid that is refunded and the amount of remaining World Cup merchandise stock sold. It is projected that the loss will be covered by NAF funds loaned to the event early in the planning process. The NAF generously agreed to extend the duration for the loan they have provided us in order to pay the last bill.

In order to boost the sale of the remaining goods (e.g. pitches, dice, t-shirts and (in)famous skill-markers), the NAF has offered to donate their extremely limited stock of some rare NAF block dice (orange, dark blue, dark green and red) to be sold to customers that purchase at least 35 € worth of World Cup merchandise. If you’re just the generous type and you have all of the Dornbirn merchandise, you can simply donate to the World Cup bank account. More detailed information can be found on the event webpage (www.nafworldcup.sbbm-turniere.com) in the "Goodies" section. There will also be raffles held at selected events (Krampusbowl in December, UKTC in January, Dungeonbowl in March) where also some donated miniatures will be prizes, in order to raise funds.

The NAF World Cup team thanks you in advance for your generosity, and we hope you take this chance to purchase some really cool stuff!

Good luck - hopefully the BB community will come out in force, as they often do in these situations! Any reason for not putting prices on the website?

I can totally understand with limiting q&a to one place. It would get silly quickly.

It’s to do with Austrian tax regulations, Mike.
