Table size

So, maybe a strange question but how big are the tables in the venue/ Are they big enough for 6 "new style" pitches, or does that create overhang or something?

So basically: should I take an old board to the tourney or is a new board do-able (sizewise)?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Jan

In general is better to take one of each.
On one hand most of bar tables are too small for the new pitches, on the other playing with new minis on the old pitch is troublesome.
So I always bring one of each.

Yes, but if you know beforehand that a big pitch isnt going to fit, why take one with you?

And I'd like to travel light, even if NOT on an airplane :) So 2 pitches,...

Since the first announcement about bringing pitches WAS that only new size pitches were allowed, you can conclude safely that the table layout was for only new size pitches.

And again, the rule is that if one team has the new size bases, the game needs to be played on a new size pitch, unless both coaches agree otherwise.

Also, each squad needs to bring 3 pitches. Every coach bringing a team with is on 32mm+ bases needs to bring a new size board

OK, I have missed that I guess. Thanks for clearing that up! :)

Good thing I have a readable pitch though, the dwarf one. I'd hate to pay 3 days in a row on a nurgle pitch. Might as well bring some extra lights then.
