Awwww. That is a shame. Those dates mean I can't go as being a teacher, there is no way I can get the Friday off work. I guess I could try to make it for the weekend, but for the expense it probably wouldn't be worth it. Have fun guys! I'm sure it will be excellent!

it's actually the date of my son's birthday bit the missus was very understanding considering the argument that; the venue just isn't available at any other time ... (which it indeed isn't) He's gotta learn BB now if he wants to see his dad on his Bday :

I thought the WC was always meant to be a 3-day thing, which makes the chance of it being a weekend only unlikely. Better start saving now - looks like it's gonna cost a bit more than I'd bargained for (read: cleared with the boss).

Well I'll be booking the time off in the new year (for some reason the boss doesn't want to let me book it in over a year in advance

For the teachers out there, the venue is the driving force behind dates. And Half term for UK is not half term in other countries so dates were always going to clash for some.
Nothing much we can do on that and I know you understand that too. Whatever date was fixed, it would have dashed the hopes of X number.
I will let Dave go to next stages on rules, team set ups and all that but just to let you know we are in the process of building a "Microsite" specifically for the WC (and the BB as it happens) so we can process card and other forms of payment better. This is good for us and the players. The forums will still be on TFF and NAF but as far as rules and downloads, maps, payments, e-ticket etc etc, we plan all this on the microsite.
