Hello everyone.

I know a fair few of you will be attending the Welsh Championships like you do every year.

A few of us are proposing a meal out on the Saturday Night.

We are proposing a buffet venue at JRC Global Buffet - Mermaid Quay

Please post below if interested with your preference of restaurant.

I’m up for that. Don’t mind where but we need to book quickly as it is a rugby weekend in Cardiff with the Italians visiting so everywhere will be busy.

We'll get it locked down mid Jan.

Count me in. Anywhere is good, so long as there's food!

This looks a grand idea to me... But it's my first time, so I don't know what's going on!!
I don't even have a place to stay yet...
Where are the budget guests hanging out?

There are a choice of budget hotels nearby the venue.

Premier inn, travelodge.

Table has been booked for 7:30pm.

Initial booking for 20 has been made. They have said that if more are interested we can have extra seating, just need to know by the week before.

Don't forget to tell your friends.

Thanks for that. the prices are high for rugby weekend, it seems? anyway, I'm now safely booked into AirBnB... so think I'll need to go check in there after Day1 is over, then come and catch up with you rabble some where .... The idea being that I should be able to find my way back to BnB if Iv;e already been there once, even if I'm blotto - Which will happen from one drink as I'm looking forward to the end of Dry January like never before!!!

Thank to all the guys that joined us for the meal on Saturday night.

Will definitely do it again.

On a side note: what a bunch of lightweights we all were. All done after 3 or 4 plates at a buffet place :D

Any vegetarians go to the buffet? We have one here by the same company but it's pretty limited choices.

Just preparing for next year!

I didn't see much option for the vegetarians. But I wasn't really looking.

There were a few veggie options. If people are happy to go here again next year thats an option.

Alternatively we can look other venues.
