Looks like I won't be in the german team this year then, as I don't think that I can make it to the Qualifier, due to financial problems that pursue me since the start of this year...
Good luck to the others than.

Hey where are the rest of the interested Germans (from the "Flix-list"), at the moment the EQB 2005 looks like a Berlin-championship, not like a German-open.

For all Germans waiting fo r a second tournament: this second tournament will be held in Mainz on October 22/23, where the other half of the German team may qualify. More details and a separate thread once the contact details have been sorted out. For now, just note the date and try not to be too excited.
But first things first: let's see how the Berlin tournament turns out!
Good luck, guys!

I won some impressive titles in 198X, some more in 199X, even more impressive titles in 200X, some of them REALLY impressive, and a few even MORE impressive! Not to mention a lot of less impressive ones.

hey, first post after the party! yeeeeehaaaaaaa!!
okay, so the first part of the first part of the german qualification for the eurobowl, the eurobowlqualisomething... well, the EQB, is over, and i will try to take a look back, as jumper and gapfiller.
the location was the same as the dead drunk, but due to the lesser number of coaches, there was more space to walk around, make himself comfortable and pose highs and lows of the games with hands and feets.
the tourney started with a little lateness, maybe because of some overslept coaches or damaged motors... anyway, after all it began. unfortunaly we had some problems with our calculating program, so the pairings and standings after every round had to calculate mostly in toilsome handiwork, and the end of the first day was very late.
relating to the old wisdom "it's over when it's over", the next day was for many coaches the converse of the day before.
NUFFLE SUCKS! q.e.d.
but this day, the orga had learned from the problems before, so the games come more or less according to plan to the end, the awards ceremony.
well, what remains to say?
to the organizers, all the helping hands at preparation and reworking and of course my opponents a big fat THANK YOU!
to all those who have decided to stay at home and look tv or do some other boring things (everything except blood bowl ) : i feel sorry for you, guys. you've really missed a lot of fun. see you at the latest next year? i hope so!
