Just got home, having got badly burnt wandering around the parc at Versailles
Cheers to everyone for a very enjoyable tournament, especially Tojurub for supplying my figures.
Six great games, even when down 4-0 and having seven dwarves going down to a pitch invasion, and getting a lucky win over halflings (who quite easily could have won the game!). Probably overall the most relaxed tournament I've been to!
Cheers
Richard

The funny thing is, that even though I didn't see this post until last night, I said the same thing friday afternoon...lucifer wrote:"You came in that thing???? You're braver than I thought!" (to borrow a line from a film)JaM wrote:Oh, btw: this is my car:
Nee worries, see all of you there soon!!!
Thanks to the organisers and all the attendants for a great tournament.
My first win with Halflings (2-0 against humans) felt great, and the 3-3 draw against goblins was quite a relief (His first three one turners succeeded while mine all failed, only his last one turner failed on the last dodge and I even forgot about my Diving Tackle fling that I got before match one and finally had a chance to use; in game 5...; phew)
Cheers to all
Reinier

Got back last night after our dash through the Paris airport (thanks Geoff for getting us through ) and then another flight back to Newquay, very tired today, not much work going to get done.
A big thanks to Trambi, Longshot and all who ran this great torni, and a big thanks to all my opponents, especially to my opponent first game on Suday fro rolling your dice quietley
Just waiting for the pictures now, yes Hoomin, I did manage to embarace the good name of Britain again

Thanks Lucifer and Nicodaz for the show
A pity that the dices had to choose a winner, both deserved the cup
I'm very happy about my results too:
4 V 1 D 1 L, a 6th place for my human team "Les Voleurs de Jambon" on 66 teams. That's my best result on tournament
I was very happy to see foreigners player on this tournament and to discuss with them, I hope to see you soon.
And don't forget RUGBOWL in Toulouse !! 17,18 september!!!
ps:How can I post some pictures in this forum?I would like to show some of the photos I took along the WE.[/img]

Hey Louis, don't make yourself better than you are...I was 63th place....you are 65th place out of 66!!!!!
You might think you are 63 because you drew against me, but that does not mean your gobbos are as good as my Flings
