GenCon is Aug 18-21. I think the tourney is Saturday and Sunday. I don't know if I'll be there but it's looking better. I just had a major Aug. obligation cancelled. I'm playing broken-hearted and I think my wife is buying it. Will need a trip to see my friends to cheer me up fully.

Whew, I almost got something scheduled for those exact days today, but I put up some sort of a stink and got the matter scheduled later. :o I didn't know exactly when Gencon was, but I've been fighting toothe and nail to keep my August clear. That was close!

As it is, I've got a GD 2000 lizardman team to paint up for mrinprophet, and I've got to figure out what the hell I want to take.

And I'm really glad to hear that you might go after all snots. Just hope mrs. snots doesn't read this thread. I can get the guys to resort to begging, if need be.

Torg, coming south of the border? you should, it's a blast.

 sigh

It's not looking good for me to be able to attend.

Quite a few unexptected expenses involving my health and my house have come up.

Consequently, someone else should take point on getting the rooms together this year.

Here's hoping my accountant has pleasant news for me in a few weeks (cuz I really doubt I could handle any more bad news :( )

that's bad news, and I'm sorry to hear that dn. Had such a good time at the last one with you and the others. I sure hope that things improve personally, and enough to allow you to get away for a few days.

I plan on being there torg. Haven't figured out when I'm leaving and such, I'm about to start a new job, so that will have to factor into it. But it's 6 months down the road, and I will have settled in by then, so it shouldn't be a problem.

It will be good to see you all. I'll get more info on the tournament this year up hopefully next week.

JJ is attending this year as a side note.

While a lot could change in the coming months, I might try to make it out for this one.

Cannot promise on that front. I have goodies for him ... but not sure the sharing will go both ways.

Flights and Hotel are booked! I´m very happy that i can come again. And Jervis is a really very nice guy, met him in Nottingham 2003. An autograph is a must for every Blood Bowl Fan!

The Jurgen Demonfeeder mini sounds good!

Greeting from Vienna, see you all soon.

i will be there! already signed up.

However, Galak, you might want to look into your event listings. You have both days stuff posted as going 15 hours or something. Could interfere with people signing up for other stuff those days.

I "fixed" it by not signing up for the BB on Saturday. I noticed it was free so I figured I could just sign up for the Friday event and everybody could figure it out. Let me know if you get it shortened to the correct duration and I'll sign up for the Saturday too (If anyone cares)

also as a side note it's really sad that you have to be so particular about the dice issue. is cheating or weighted dice really such an issue with these games that you feel all these additional regulations are necessary?

i'm not one of those "lucky dice" types, I know they all roll equally badly for me. but it just seems to go against the spirit of sportsmanship and brotherhood and other important sounding terms.

i will of course obey the rules, just lamenting the fact that they have to be there in the first place. :(
