Newquay Bowl - 6th & 7th August 2005
The Newquay Bowl is now going to defiantley happen (just waiting on NAF sanctioning), so its sun, sea, surf, booze, ladies and Blood Bowl all the way. For those of you who dont know Newquay, it is a very bust seaside town with a GREAT nightlife, numerous nightclubs and bars, and very hot in August so bring sun tan lotion
The event will take place at the Barracuda nightclub in the centre of Newquay, it will be on the 6th and 7th August 2005 and it will cost £20 for NAF and £25 for non NAF. Lunch is included in the price for both days.
There will be 6 games played under the swiss style for 1,150,000 GC's teams. There will be a prize for Most TD's, most CAS's and best painted. Complete rules is available at our website.

Enclose your NAF number and ID name if you are paying £20.
Anyone wanting to come I would suggest booking rooms early as it is a VERY busy town in the summer. Here are some numbers for caravan and camping sites. If you want B&B's or hotels then the best I can suggest is doing a internet search as there are too many to list. If you need anymore help PM me.

A couple of questions:
Well the hell is Newquay?
Cheapest the better / would they be offended by drunken BB louts?
How far is it from civilisation (London)?
Will there be naked chicks handing out free nachos if you turn up on time?

Bottom left of your map of Britain (the version that includes all of the bits of Britain, even those outside of London) on the South coast, sorry, "Sarf coast".dwarfcoach wrote:A couple of questions:

Probably not, but if they're anything like the rest of the UK they are offended by drunken Cockney loutsdwarfcoach wrote:Would they be offended by drunken BB louts?
Not nearly as far as it is from real civilisation (i.e. North)dwarfcoach wrote:How far is it from civilisation (London)?

I'd be interested, was thinking of taking a trip to Cornwall next summer anyway
just depends if it clashes with the Abion Coast Cup 2005, which will probably have to be in August if we keep the same venue.

Well considoring most of Newquays beaches topless then the chances of seeing bossoms are quite high, also in the night clubs they seem to wear less
As for the drunken BB louts, not a problem most of the tourists in Newquay are stag doos and hen nights, so be loutish away
@Indigo - Sorry you cant make it, one of these days we will make it to one of each others tornis

alright big man, i'll be there.
are you going to make it near the start, middle or end of august? don't know why i'm asking as i'll make sure i can get down for this one.
one question though. are there no scout huts, working mens clubs, hall of some such description to hold it in rather than a swanky hotel? not that i mind.
