Not bothered about the pasties.
But atleast i know that if valen has been sunning himself in his back garden, the ground will be flat for when i pitch my tent!

The Irish have a throat infection and infection in both of his ears so I would have had to give it a miss anyway or infect you allhoomin_erra wrote:What? The irish are chickening out again?
Im going to get to a tourney soon (missed this as Im working all the time in the bank and they wont let me have a day off. Tip: NEVER work in a bank!) My contract ends 16th Sept so Im pretty much free after that as its only college I have to go to! (meh)
I could even try to sort an Irish tourney, but I really live in the back hole of nowhere (Fermanagh) and the nightlife isnt great (imagine Fr Ted!), and a venue is hard to come by

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Well I'm here in sunny (? ?) Newquay and I'm going to meet up with Valan again soon at the venue. I have a good feeling about this tourney...
Quick multiple choice question:
What is the name of the establishment right next to Valans workplace:
a) Buckets & Spades
b) Mcdonalds
c) Buzios (pronounced booze-ios...)
No prizes I'm afraid, just my total amazment that you can guess really (those who have been at a tourney with him have a distinct advantage though ).

Well, back at work, very tired and a little hung over. I had a great weekend, and hope everyone else did aswell.
I will post the full results and standings later but a quick overview.
Winner = Lucifer
Runner-Up = Geggster
Most TD's = Darkson
Most CAS's = Lowsman1
Painting = R.Hancocks
Last = Pottybond
AND
Hero of the week = EVIL GIT
Evil Git turned up on the Friday night, late, drunk a few beers and was then woken up in the early hours by Hoomin to ask if Evil could drive him to Hereford as his GF had gone into Labour, Evil of course said no problem and got Hoomin to the hospital about an hour before the arrival of Hoomins little one.
Congrats to Hoomin and I hope all is well with you the little one and the GF. and a big thanks to Evil for stepping up in the time of need.

everyone seemed to enjoy the tourney, venue was good, location was great (even if it is in the arsehole of nowhere ) and the level of coaches was superb. i'm in two minds about the weekend really. gutted i missed it but glad i didn't have everything handed to me after each match
excellent tourney gav.
