What happen when the opponent needs to move or roll during your turn. Do the clock be stopped, count in your time, count in your opponent time?

Example: I roll push, my opponent has side step and he needs to choose where to move. Or intercept a pass.
Would use the same rules as my regular speedbowl - if you interrupt your opponent for anything (dump off, pass block, side step, whatever) you pause the clock, do your thing, restart the clock. The longer you take you more time you are giving to your opponent. It does not come up that often.

However in Death Clock rules I would think we are using chess clocks on phones and an interrupting move should come out of the interrupting coaches time.

eg -
coach A throws a block, push/push.
coach B hits the timer switch, side steps his player, hits the timer switch back.

coach A throws a pass.
coach B hits the timer switch to move his pass blocker 3 squares and roll his intercept, hits the timer switch back.

This is a screenshot of the chess clock app on my phone and I imagine most coaches who played in this sort of tourney in a tourney would be able to get something similar.

My FLGS asked me to do this in the new year.
I was going to host at my place again, but store works for me.

Look out for tourney thread when full details sorted with Bag of Holding in Bournemouth and with Fern and Ziggy.

@Lunchmoney

Just curious: In the final rules set-up time is coming out of the 30 minutes allowance. What's the rationale there? And does this include rolling for ko's, master chefs, pitch invasions and swelttering heat?

Mostly to encourage coaches to play quicker :) :lol:

I know a match can be done in an hour, so it shouldn't be problem ;)
