Picking your Best Sportsman

Post by jaylazer »

Hey Guys,

After my 6th game, like everyone else, I was forced to choose between 6 players all of whom where good sportsman. I eventually chose the guy who bought me a pint after the game.

I talked with another player who chose his Best sportsman, with everything else roughly equal, based on who traveled the farthest.

So my question is, what methods did you use to choose your best sportsman?

The game which I enjoyed most, because we both had a laugh.

For the right or wrong reason it was the game i enjoyed the most. That happened to be the game against Sputnik, which i actually lost, although 4 of the 5 other guys i played were great also.

I simply voted for my most enjoyable game, which was my 1st. But I had another game which was played in the same great spirit, so I felt it was a shame that I had to pick one of the two.

I voted for the best game - it was very tight, tactical & very good. I'm just sorry that I had to choose one as one of my other opponents was a very good sportsman too.

It was a tough choice for me, I had 3 contenders. I made it easier by deciding afresh after each round (i.e. who was best at that point).

In the end, I chose the guy who laughed the most, expecially at his own bad luck.

Cheers

So the 1st one

One thing I've started doing with Guard is to turn the players round during my opponent's turn. This can be very useful for stopping those repeated questions.

I brought little stickers with numbers on them to distingish my special guys. I made it easy since I only took block for my runners and guard for some longbeards.

Dwarfs with Guard...

Post by Smeborg »

Well, Firebreather, try this -

In my last game, both teams had 3 Chaos Dwarfs with Guard :o .

And all 12 Chaos Dwarfs on the pitch were painted in IDENTICAL COLOURS  .

Cheers
