Results, Pictures From The Bloodbowl (updated 17 March)

Post by Mocaiv »

Bloodbowl XXXXII

The final was between Marcos Tarrasso Ocana and his (Human) Flatlined Annihilators and Jez Lowe and his (Human) Altdorf Allstars.

Image

The game was quick and over in just over an hour with victory going to Marcos two to zero.

Image

To say that he and the rest of the Spanish Team were happy would be the understatement of the year!

Image

Marcos was the only player to win all his games. Questions may be asked at some stage about being able to concede a Touchdown which may have given Jez a chance of getting back into the game. You will have to wait for some more "official" report as I was busy playing game 6.

The picture below shows the rest of us playing for honour!

It's also worth pointing out that Geggster won the "Most TDs award" with a whopping 22 - that is an average of 3.66 a game! I only scored 9!

As well as that, another one of your ECBBL guys won the "Most Casualties" award. Think I might be joining your league for a few tips...

How many of those are TBB'rs? Anyone care to convert the top30 list into TBB nicknames? As I don't know most of the real names of the people around here, so the list tells me only little...

Yeah and Geggster managed to beat me for highest TD award by a single touchdown. *gutted* :D 4 for me and 5 for him in the last game :)

So that's top 2 in TDs, top Casualties, 5 in the top 20. Another good tournament for the ECBBL.

Well maybe reconsider, I only scored 8, but still finished 18th :D - thanks to my miserly defence - I only conceded 4 TDs :D

If I'm right that makes me the top Orc player there. :D

As I find out real names, I'll add them in brackets to the list. When I get time, I'll try and post to the top 50 or more...

Good to see the list of names above... some comments:

Firstly, well done, Deathwing! Good to see you high up in a tournament - did you abandon elves this time?

Secondly, just how good is the ECBBL? Coaches at #5, #9, #10 and #18!! :o

Thirdly, seeing McDeth at #17 makes me think that I really must meet up and get some practice and tips of him given we live pretty close. Well done McDeth!

Pretty damn good :D Half of us in the top 20 was our hope for the tourney and I suspect had Marcus & Geggster not drawn their game against each other one of them may have gone on to win it.

We think we had the top Wood Elf, Skaven, Dwarf, Orc and Undead coaches. We may have the top Chaos coach too.

We are nearly as good as the Spanish, and I had the pleasure of playing two of them (draw and a loss).

Best in the UK? :D

martyng: We got #11 as well (TBL). We had a 10 coach squad, 5 of us finished in the top 20, all of us finished in the top half of the field. Makes me a very proud old commish :)
