I checked out the gobycoach.com and the cost of a bus ticker from Gatwick to Nottingham was listed at around 34 pounds. The travel time is 4.5 hours and they have several leaving at various times during the day. Seems like a better choice instead of jumping from train to train and probably cheaper too!
