I've played against some decent BBers. I did well at the one tourney I ever played in, and I have a couple of very good guys in my league who I'm nearly always competitive with (1-1 draw against a WE team with 50 TRR points up on my dwarfs on monday). I'm going to give it absolutely everything to win the whole damn thing.

Realisticly though, I'll be happy with top half overall, and among the top Dwarf teams. I'm aiming to post at least a .500 record. We'll see ho wthe dice roll. I voted 25-75 region. As I've said before - Lizards, Skaven, Wood Elves or - outside chance - Humans will win it all.

We think the same... we have a problem with your first phrase... I'll be n.1 dwarf team. :P

If I was putting a bet on the nose, my money's on Longfang. So I wouldn't call humans an outside chance. Firebreather has got some nice moves with the humies as well.

I'll probably be somewhere near 200th place. Not surprising with Goblins!
I'll be surprised if i manage any higher. If I manage to get in the top 100... well I don't think my heart could take the shock!

I was thinking we had to think of Del as a serious contender too...but I have a feeling one of those blasted "score in a couple of turns and you can't stop me" teams will rack up a good few wins and win on the basis of a bucket load of TDs. One guy with Kick and those teams are sorted. I know if was WEing I'd take Kick early on and play the onside kick game.

But Firebreather's taking Skaven. We played 2 games last week. Won one each.

I'm going for first place :)

BB is the only game I am any good at, I suck at all the others... so this is my one chance to impress

I put myself into the 26 - 75 zone.

It's my first real tourny but I've always been competetive.

I'm currently 8-1 (almost 9-1) with dwarves in the MBBL. I know I've gotten plenty of luck along the way, but it can't be all luck. :)

Afterwards we should have a thread on how accurate everyone thought they would be.

Yeah, but Max you take up two places by yourself.

Any side bets on whether I can actually goad Max into a big fight? 5-3 odds before Amsterdam and even money before The BloodBowl. I can only offer 1-9 though if we both make it to the last two though - expect to see that one sorted out in the car park in true Northern Warlords BB stylee. 1 Ball ("borrowed", naturally). 2 cars at either end for goals. Each "player" starts with the ball 5 times. Score is a TD in between the 2 cars in your opponents EZ.

Oh, and poss top half finish for me

First tournament, been playing for a month after a 9 year gap, and playing with Orcs, who every man and their dog has played so often they know every possible move before you make it. Plus it's a weekend in a room next to a bar, 176-200 sounds about right. Unless 25 people forget to paint their models - that would help. Or I'll have to rely on some yellow cards flying about. Over 190 would be nice, avoid the bottom 5 percentile. Someone has to take last place..it could be you

I'll take those odds. Means I take your money as well as your teeth :D

BTW, you missed out the downing of a double shot inbetween each carry of the ball.......
