I was wondering how many Starplayers I could buy/hire 4 my team. If it is not limited to 1 Humies/Orcs will kick asses (I swear). With a rating 100 whatever elf-team u can never stop a wild Morgh at all. Even with Amazons - there u can use the Dodge skill to get away!!!! Think about Dwarfes, u run over rating 100 Dwarfs like u fight against Import (hope u rememer them *g*). Maybe I am wrong, I hope I am......

Only 1.....
But even when teams would have two, their total lack off rerolls (or positional players) would make them suffer a lot. Elves can perfectly defend against a starplayer though. They can dodge away from them easily. No Starplayer has tackle so it's easy to get away.....

Only starplayers which cost 120- are really eligible to purchase. If they become more expensive, then you'll be unable to pay for decent players and rerolls....

You must read other topics (thrudd and so).
You can buy as many stars as you can afford but you cannot have stars twice in your team (not 2 zugs example). Amazons and Norse cannot get starplayers.
Yes, human teams could get 4 stars... or 3 stars and save money for a RR.

It's as many Stars as you can afford. Andy Hall is going to put up a Q&A on the BB site later.
BTW, Chet won all 4 games with Amazons last year, and I beat an Orc team fielding Varag and Morg. A Chaos Dwarf team with no Stars also won all 4.
So teams without Stars can compete, and teams with Stars are beatable.
There is no such thing as an unstoppable roster.
