Can norse and amazon take human starplayers?

Post by Ancalagon »

A friend who will come to blood bowl just asked this to me and I thought the answer was "no" but some other people said that those teams are human teams... I need official answer please.

Like McD I'm pretty sure that's a no. There is only one human team - Humans. In a BB context Amazons & Norse aren't "humans".

from Andy Hall:

> 1) Do norse and amazon teams count as human teams to buy starplayers?
No.
> 2) What about raise dead spell of undead teams? will it work as usual?
> (maybe raising a zombie for that match only)
It will work, however you must start with the same roster every match. So
you will lose it after the match has ended.
> 3) need to confirm about buying thrudd for only 50k
You can't. Thrud is not on the Star Player list on the back of the printed
handbook and his freebooter only rules prevent him from being used in the
tournament.
> 4) need to confirm about buying as many star players as you can afford
> keeping race restrictions in mind. A friend said humans could get 4 star
> players: luthor, morg, zug, griff (personally I think it's a bit
> excesive).
You can but as many Star Players as you can afford.

Mc Deth Don't know about repeating stars but I've been on a champ with repeated stars and was awful... I used an undead team with 3 luthor... lost against one chaos with 2 boraks (was 3rd ed. he fouled all time and sent off 2 of my vamps using cards). :puke: :puke: :puke:
Maybe someone should ask andy about this...

So the Norse and Amazons have no star player? Thats a bit unfare. They should be aloud to use human SP's. This puts them at a disadvantage! Humans and Orcs can have a team full of SP's and what do the Norse and Amazons get.....ZIP!
I wasnt planning on taking a SP but i would of been nice to be given the choice to take 1.

LOL. Yes, I don't like to think about 3 luthor undead teams... and the temptation of coaching one of them... :puke:
