Questions about skills allowed...

I've just received my ticket, YEAH!!!!! But i was wondering what skills were allowed. i know you can't take traits. But can chaos or skaven teams can take physical mutations ? I believe they can't. But has anyone have an evidence of that ?

Since it says you can only gain skills then I would say no too. Skills only, and even then only from the groups allowed normally by your player's race/position.

No they cant only normal skills, or in better terms skills that do not require a double. :wink:

:o Interesting. If you rolled a Double 6 in a normal league environment would you give him +1 St or Pass???

I'd give him nice player. A new skill that i just invented ( due to the glass of champagne i'm drinking at work for the new year). You can never use MB and always choose the skull if yo get one! I you injure a player then your troll try to heal him. if he can't he retires from the game and go crying in his cave ;p

Seriously, (this is really off topic) i think i'd try frenesy. For a normal skill block or maybe tacle. interesting if you can move him to protect the backfield. Don't really know though, i've never tried.

Pass is not that interesting i think. Coz' of the akways hungry. Too many dice rolls before you actually throw the goblin. So pass wouldn't make such a difference compared to what he could get instead.

its ok, only mentioned it because it was one of the three skills you mentioned in preference to +1 ST.

As you said this is a better a topic for another forum. Personnally i'd always go for the +1 ST increase.

+1 in ST is not that interesting for a ST 5 guy. No? Better for a ST 3 lineman. opponents tend to flee from your big guy. althoug against a wild animal, it works pretty well. really depends of the team in your league. but a leader gives you a RR for big guys. i'd take that since i play with goblins and i got 2 trolls.

I disagree anything that makes your Big guy stronger than the opponents Big Guy is a must, offensively and defensively. You can take leader on any double ( 1 in 6 Chance ). +1 St you get on only a 1 in 36 Chance.

Good point! kicking the a** of the other team's big guy sounds good to me. the thing is that i have a death roller in my team, so in that case i'd take something else (although there's not much else to get and you're right about the figures) Big guys evolving only at 12 pt in my league, it's really a pain to know what to give them. basically you know they'll only get one skill. block and +1 ST is a must but everybody does that (fot good reasons)

Sometimes you wanna try something else. i agree that i don't always choose the most efficient stuff but i like those funny combo :P
