Possible silly question - how do I stop Paypal from taking a chunk of the money?

(I once bought something off an ebay seller privately and he sent me abuse because I hadn't done whatever it was I needed to do to make sure he got all of the money - Paypal sliced some off for themselves. Once bitten, twice shy!)

Once I know, I'll buy my ticket then you can add Ireland to the list of countries sending players to the slaughter!

Send a family & friends payment. If you're sending cash to someone in the same country & you balance covers the payment, there's no charge. Otherwise you'll pick up the % fee.

I've just never had that issue you had with ebay; when I buy I expect them to take the hit, when I sell, I take it. I don't believe Paypal payments through ebay let you select the friends & family option anyway.

(The issue I had before was because it wasn't done through ebay - we agreed a not-via-ebay sale, and because I hadn't used Paypal in that way before, I didn't know to click Family and Friends and they took a cut. He was not happy!)

Paid. People might be interested to know that the hotel is currently confused and has double, not twin rooms.

Hopefully, they should solve the problem quickly.

I booked a twin this afternoon, no probs.

I have booked but encountered some problems when calling the hotel. When calling from Denmark there is a zero first that you are not supposed to dial. I'm not sure if I ought to know that but I didn't, so it took me some time to get a hold of them. You might want to inform about this in the welcome mail. Or maybe just make it possible to book using email, that would be easier I think?
