Cyanide and the NAF are proud to present the Road to NAFC 2014. This will be a knockout competition on Cyanide, open to all rookie teams, where the winner wins a ticket to the NAF Championship in Nottingham on 17/18 May 2014. The tournament will start in the New Year, with entries due in by mid-December, so if you haven't got to grips with the game yet there is still time! Full details will be on the Cyanide forum, and a few Ts and Cs are on thenaf.net. Good luck!

Hi babass,
it's a great question, and the answer is not this year, certainly - one thing at a time, we'll see how this one goes, try to get people from Cyanide playing more/any tabletop, and take it from there. I did put a post on Fumbbl offering to lend teams to anyone who plays pure digital at the moment, and there are certainly lots of Fumbblers who attend, but no competition as such this year.

Cheers,
Mike

Great idea, maybe the NAF could do something similar on FUMBBL in future years.

Just realised I haven't updated this thread since the tournament started. We have 96 coaches participating, and are now into Matchday 4. Two teams are on 4 wins and two on 3 out of 3 so far. We've had a few dropouts due to real-life, and a few disappointing ones due to some early losses, but the large majority of coaches are having a good tournament and it's going smoothly.

You can see the standings so far here: http://forum.bloodbowl-game.com/viewtop ... =60&t=3728

And we have a winner! Ugnash's Orcs took the title last night over Haree's Chaos Dwarfs. Ugnash is a NAF member but hasn't yet been to a NAF tournament, so we'll have to make him welcome!

Thanks to all participants, and Dode for doing the admin.

Just a quick update - sadly Ugnash wasn't able to make due to a family emergency, but thanks to all who participated!

That's a shame. I was looking to see how well he did.
