Norse wrote:I believe you are taking Lizzies to the Dutch Open Marcus? A brave choice. I know Lizds won the Res. last year, but I find them a very hard team to coach. Not enough skills or re-rolls. If the opposition stay away from your S4s and nail your S2s, you have no chance of scoring either...
Dunno about taking lizzies to the Dutch Open. I'll be taking them to the Amsterdam Invitational though. Played a practice game with them last night to get a feel for the team. Played dwarves which should be my horror opponent and won 2-1 so I'm reasonably confident with them. Only problem is you can't really field a decent roster for 100TR.

If so, everyone vote Gobbos
How unsporting of you Darkson - you don't get my best sportsman vote now ;)

Take the gobbo's!
I played against a gobbo team at res and it was the best game ever. Although he didnt take and trolls and so i won (not a gobbo left in sight), so take a troll or 2 if you do.

Here's the deal..

we all buy one halfling model and paint it up nice (because Marcus has no idea what a paintbrush is for... :?: ) and bring them to the Blood Bowl and make him play the team..

It'll cost me 2 quid and 2 hours painting to get one of the serious contenders out the way... :D

Bastard would probably still win anyway... mutter... mutter... ;-)

Seriously Norse - If you or Ant paint me up a halfling team (I'm thinking 3 trees, 13 hobbits) then I'll coach them. I wouldn't mind giving them a go and if I dont' have to paint them, so much the better. None of this hodge podge of random halflings from all over the shop tho; gotta get one of you talented types to do the whole team ;)
(because Marcus has no idea what a paintbrush is for... :?: )
Hey my Skaven aren't that bad.

Sorry Marcus, no deal..

I have my own halfling team I'm trying to paint up for me right now.. (plus, a 3 treeman line-up is a little excessive.. go the Ogre route!! if the BBRC are willing to throw cheap big guys around, I'll buy them!!)

Nice try though!

Take what you want. If LongFang takes humans, we're all stuffed anyway... sigh..

Well, the votes are in.

What I didn't tell you was I was going to ignore the top choice, to cut out the spoiler idiots.

That leaves Lizardmen and Woodelves on 4 votes each.
Since I just played Lizardmen in Amsterdam (and didnt' really enjoy using them) It looks like Woodies are the winner.

This Bloodbowl, I will mostly be coaching: The P-Funk All Stars Woodelf Team.
