We (Bristol guys) are going to Bugmans for lunch.

We'll be bringing some games to the Orchards bar for mid-afternoon. We may have a Shandy or two as well

There is a bar in the hotel itself - and that is where I guess many Friday travellers will meet. It is open throughout the weekend and I believe will still open for as long as people are drinking. It will also be showing the Champions League final on Saturday night.

The Conference Centre (where we are actually playing) is the next door building and has its own bar. It is not open Friday night but open Saturday until 10pm - and Sunday too, of course. People are free to use the hall until 10pm on Saturday night so ideal for non-football lovers that want to play other boardgames (or more Bloodbowl).

Whats wrong with Hooters for lunch?!? :smoking:

Is it going to be 'hotel prices' on the drinks though?

I reckon the others could be persuaded to change the lunch venue

I had a bar menu and drinks seemed similar to Bugman's (or Hooters, for that matter). Not necessarily cheap but not ridiculous either.

If they don't serve Guiness, or even worse only serve Murphy's or some such muck, Valen and I will riot.

I am aware that a two person riot is more of a sulky strop, before anyone says anything

'Hotel prices' are still cheaper than 'Bugman's prices' though?

I'll be dragging Hawca's OCC baggage in about 1pm Friday, you'll understand that unless I'm talking to completely the wrong person...

For sure, I stayed at this hotel a few weeks back, be prepared to bend over if you want to drink...
