Figures for the tourney....

Hi
Just wondering on the Star Players point. I have a 2nd Edition Varag figure. I presume it is ok to use him as Varag, or will GW insist that it has to be a 3rd Ed Varag?

Hmm..there was no specfic Varag figure in 2e.

I haven't got my 2nd Ed. with me but wasn't one of the figures identical to the picture of Varag? But.... looking up in an old WD (101) it does not name any of the figures as Varag so you are probably right.
Oh well. Looks like more money to be spent and more painting to do! Cheers for the answer.

When of my club mates asked me a question the other day:-
"If their insisting on official GW figures does that mean I could use my 1st ed. cardboard figures, I mean they are GW after all?"
