Remember, that's only £10 up on last year. And it's cheaper than it used to be run by GW (£55) for no prizes, no trophies, no gift.

Part of the reason we're increasing the price is because we have things in the pipeline to make this a truly unique event - the NAF's event, with our stamp all over it. The great strength of having our own venue will be that we can offer many things that were not possible at Warhammer World. Lifting of the miniature restriction and the option to eat, sleep and game all on one site are just a couple. Lots of other things are under development to emphasize the community nature of Blood Bowl and NAF, no longer needing to worry about GW's specifications.

So please don't think of this the same old GW event at another venue. It will be much much more and well worth it!

Just wondering: how is it an extra meal?

* The event will cost £50.00. This will include lunch on both Saturday and Sunday and an evening meal on Saturday, plus free gifts and of course your entry to play Blood Bowl in the event itself. Payment details to follow shortly - we will release tickets for sale at a specific date and time as in previous years.

I've been to the last 2 NAFC at WHW and both gave exactly the same meals.

I'd still love to come to this - having been to WHW a couple of times now I'm not so excited by the venue - but its mostly going to depend on whether I can get a pass... which looks unlikely since its my wedding anniversary weekend (and after making it that weekend 2 years ago, this one will be really difficult to book off!).

Was planning on making my NAFC debut next year, and a little disappointed it's not at Warhammer World. However, if that venue was as rubbish as people say it was, and if the new venue allows things to be more NAFish, then cool.
Just have to decide which team to paint up for it: Rats, Delfs or Undead/Necro..?

BTW as it is the biggest induvidial tournament with about 180 coaches I suggest it would be cool to extend the games to 7...

One potential bonus of not being at GW is that this is a prime opportunity to have a tournament limited edition figure like some of the other great figs at other tournies.
