Would anyone really have complained if GW had tacked on an extra couple of quid to the ticket price and informed us that we'd all be getting tournament dice as well?

They HAVE to have buckets of dice sitting around. Why not just sell everyone going to the Blood Bowl a handful as part of the ticket cost, hand them out on the day and say THOSE are the dice you use. Bit late now but I doubt we would have thought the extra quid would have stopped all of us coming.

Tournaments providing dice kinda defeats one of the objects of the black NAF Block dice.
So yeah, I'd have complained!
Simple as this, you both use the same pair of D6, loaded sets of which after all can be acquired. Block dice you'd have to tamper with yourself, which is a really pathetic state of a affairs if people will stoop that low.

I meant d6s ya fool. :P
Must sign up for NAF...must get Dice...

That is the other solution...but this is GW. I'm amazed they passed up the oppurtunity to earn even more cash from us (or did they?).
I of course will be using my special dice from T5. The ones that have a knack of rolling exactly my opponent's AV, (AV-1 for Mighty Blows).

2 quid more? bloody students.
(Think of those of us coming from overseas...especially the guys coming from North AMerica, and Australia if there are any. 100 quid for the hotel, 150 or so minimum on flights plus the train if I can't catch a lift with someone. Buckinghamshire, not far from the M25 and M40 if any one fancies helping.)

We're already being stung for £4. There's a 2-day 40K tourney at the end of Jan, also including 3 meals. £36 to you sir!

Do they also get a limited minature?

Also they are subjected to playing 40k instead of blood bowl ;]

Good! I lost last year after one of the damn handles came of in my hand!
Kinda hampered the handling. Pool table still there?

Good point about the mini Grumbs, no idea if they do or not.
