I saw posted on the official BB website that the 40 (not 50 like they originally said) tickets will be put on sale on Monday Dec. 23 at 9:00am GMT. The only way to get them is to phone GWMO UK. I guess they only want English players taking the rest of the spots, I know I can't stay up until the wee hours Monday morning to call to England for tickets (and god knows how long it would take to get through) and still go to work that day. What happened to the waiting list they had, was that all just a load of crap to try and appease pissed of BB players who wanted tickets?

from blood bowl.com:

"Games Workshop is pleased to announce a special Christmas boon for all Blood Bowl coaches seeking entry into The Blood Bowl 2003, to be held on 1st & 2nd March 2003 at Warhammer World, UK. Due to public demand and after checking for the extra space, we have been able to find an extra set of places at the show. To allow for these tickets to become available in a controlled and fair manner we are doing the following:

On Monday 23rd December at 9am, the tickets will become available from UK 0115 91 40000 only. We will provide them on a first come, first served basis until they are all gone. The price remains unchanged at £40 per ticket, and there are 40 extra places available.

Please make sure you pass this information on to any prospective competitor you know, as we can only communicate this through limited means at such short notice. We hope you will understand the need to do so quickly, with the event being so soon.
Good luck, and have a great Christmas!"

I can't go but good luck to those trying to get a ticket !!

Torg: The reason it’s gone down from 50 to 40 is so we can contact the people on the reserve list and offer them a ticket.

Honestly, it's not some great conspiracy.

Another important point: the time has changed, tickets will be available from 8am not 9am as currently advertised.

Well, having no credit card I've had to send a cheque, but I don't hold out much hope of it getting there early enough to secure a ticket.

Now, if only I could find a friendly TBB'er with a credit card
